HERO INGREDIENTS
Bio-fermented Licorice Root: A potent antioxidant that can calm and soothe skin, reduce redness, pigmentation, and acne scars. An excellent defender against discolouration from UV rays, it can lighten existing pigmentation and also works to preserve HA, keeping skin hydrated and baby soft.
Bio-fermented Pineapple: Pineapple is a source of proteases and polyphenols that become supercharged through the fermentation process to help gently exfoliate, while providing antioxidants for the skin and prebiotics for a healthy skin microbiome.
Bio-fermented Papaya: Anti-inflammatory and free radical fighting, an ideal ingredient for restoring stressed skin. The fermentation process releases extracellular vesicles that signal the skin to produce ceramides, defensins, collagen, and restore the barrier of the dermis.
Niacinamide (4%): The ultimate skin health multi-tasker. Keeps skin hydrated whilst managing breakouts, redness, pigmentation, and the appearance of fine lines. Promotes the production of ceramides and elastin, vital components of a strong skin barrier.
Vitamin B5: Deeply hydrating and helps skin to feel soft and smooth. A hard worker for sensitive skin by calming irritation, reducing inflammation, and improving a disrupted skin barrier.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA): A superstar for hydration, HA has an unrivalled ability to retain moisture and increase water content in the skin. This leaves the skin looking more plump and youthful, minimising the look of wrinkles and fine lines.
Cucumber Seed Oil: A light, fresh oil that absorbs easily into the skin, packed with nutrients and anti-inflammatory properties that hydrate and promote cell turnover, and Omega 9 (Oleic Acid) and Omega 6 (Linoleic Acid). Cucumber Seed Oil is the unsung hero for treating wrinkles, dry or dehydrated skin, eczema, psoriasis, acne, scarring, and sun damaged skin.

WILL IT STING OR IRRITATE IF MY SKIN IS REACTIVE?
The Super Serum contains 4% niacinamide, which is a well tolerated dose for very sensitive skin. Because it is an active, we recommend doing a patch test behind the ear before putting it on your face, particularly if you are currently in a flare up or have cracked skin. In a consumer trial, 94% said visible signs of redness were reduced.* Our products are free from fragrance, dyes, drying alcohols, essential oils, silicones, parabens, sulphates, and harsh preservatives (phenoxyethanol, sodium benzoate, ethylhexylglycerin).

WILL IT MAKE ME BREAK OUT BEFORE IT GETS BETTER?
It shouldn't. Purging is something exfoliating acids and retinoids do, by speeding up cell turnover — there are none of either in the Super Serum. WHAT IS BIO-FERMENTED SKINCARE?
Fermentation is the same process that makes yoghurt, kimchi and sourdough. Cultures are added to an ingredient and left to work on it, which breaks it into smaller molecules and increases bioavailability.
The Super Serum is bio-fermented with raw Licorice Root/Lactobacillus, raw Papaya/Lactobacillus, and raw Pineapple/Lactobacillus; providing a gentle preservative system that maintains stability without irritating or drying out sensitive skin.
DO I APPLY BEFORE THE LET'S START OVER BARRIER REPAIR SOUFFLÉ?
The Super Serum has been formulated to be bio-compatible with the Barrier Repair Soufflé. That means you can apply it before, after, or you can mix them together and apply at the same time. This is particularly helpful if you are in an active flare up or experiencing extreme sensitivity, where you need a very gentle approach to using Niacinamide (the Super Serum contains 4% Niacinamide).
IT SAYS 2-3 DROPS, BUT A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. HOW MUCH DO I ACTUALLY NEED?
This is a personal preference, most people start with 1 drop then build up to 2-3 drops after a week or two of continuous use. You may find as your skin improves that you don't need to use as much.
