Ever stood in a skincare aisle reading ingredients panels, trying to work out which one won't set your face off? Me too. Battling endometriosis since I was thirteen left my skin extremely sensitive, and by the time I was in my 30s my skin barrier was completely disrupted. I was banished to the "safe for sensitive skin" aisle, left to choose from joyless products that didn't harm my skin, but didn't really help it either. I felt ignored by the industry and frustrated by the lack of solutions for people like me. So I went on a mission to find answers, and it led me to the skin microbiome.
